We’ve gotten pretty used to the concept of the ai???internet of things’ by now. Getting your house ready for your imminent arrival by turning on the heating from your smartphone, or regulating your lighting plan while you’re on holiday has become pretty commonplace, at least in the Netherlands. But reading about Evrythng and Avery Dennison pairing up to manage the digital identities of items and apparel, well that’s a whole new concept. (via fortune.com)
